If you haven't been to a Bargain Books warehouse sale, you don't know what you're missing!

Hey bookworms!

This is my very first post as I only recently started my blog and I wanted to share with you my excitement for the upcoming Bargain Book sale! I was invited to their pre-sale, so I am super excited! Bargain Books is South Africa's leading discount book retailer and has stores in all our provinces. Click here for their website. They have a few sales per year and the first one is taking place 21 March 2019.

Two huge warehouses filled with amazing books, at discounted prices! What more could any book lover want!

Being a teen, my only income is my pocket money, and most, if not all, of my pocket money goes to buying new books! So when there is a book sale...I..go...insane!

Books piled high

As you can see from the pictures, there are thousands of books! I am like a kid in a candy store.(sorry for the overused phrase). I have a crazy LONG list of all the books I intend on getting, but I usually end up getting so many more books!

At the last sale, I got some excellent books by the world's most renowned young adult authors. Here are a few of the books that I got:

  • Spellbook of the Lost and Found by Moira Fowley-Doyle- Still have to get stuck in this book, but it was very hyped up at the time I bought it. Has anyone read this? Would like to know!

  • The Queen's Rising by Rebecca Ross - Got excited when I saw this book, the cover was so pretty, just had to get it! Still got to read it though!

  • Delirium by Lauren Oliver- I read the Replica duology by Lauren Oliver and heard really good things about the Delirium series, so I knew I had to pick it up!

  • Strange the dreamer by Laini Taylor- Need I even mention why I bought this book? Almost everyone I know who has read Strange the dreamer has absolutely adored it, and I'm beyond excited to get to it!

  • To kill a kingdom by Alexandra Christo- This buy might or might not have to do with the fact that it said "Perfect for fans of Leigh Bardugo and Sarah J. Maas" on the cover.

  • Dreamology by Lucy Keating- I'd heard about this book somewhere before and when I saw it at the sale I decided to get it! I ended up really enjoying it and might do a review later.

  • Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare- I've always wanted to get this book for when I finally finish the Mortal Instruments and I thought it was the perfect opportunity!

  • The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid- thought this book sounded really cool and like something I would enjoy reading. If you have read it, what were your thoughts?

  • The one memory of Flora Banks by Emily Barr- I saw this book and read the synopsis and thought it would be a really great read. I don't often read contemporary books, but this one really intrigued me and I had to get it.

My wish list for this year is too long to mention, but please follow me on insta @jennas_books, as I will be doing a video on all my finds!

So to all my fellow Capetonian book lovers, I hope to see you all at the Bargain books sale! Don't be late!
